Carrie Judd Montgomery (1858-1946) was one of the most influential people in the Divine Healing Movement who greatly influenced early Pentecostalism. She taught divine healing early on and initiated the 1st healing home on the West Coast, coming 20 years before John G. Lake's. She acted as a catalyst to spread revival fires and passionately pursued the fullness of the Spirit throughout her life. This site exists to recover her forgotten voice in hopes of inspiring a new generation.

1886, Carrie Speaks Forth

“In union with our beloved Lord we are to ‘preach the Gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things’ (Rom. 10:15) to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death…Have we in the past felt inclined to settle down, ourselves, into the peace and blessedness of the glad tidings, without declaring them to others? Have we spoken only with timidity of the grand privileges in Christ which we are ourselves enjoying, and which other weary ones need so much to have taught them? YES YES YES YES!! Let us not yield our voices and so forfiet the souls of others! The good news must be lived and heard simultaneously. It is to my shame that I have let my toungue go limp under the wieght of the P.C.
